This is the comments the examiner gave me:
You played with great musical talents and emotions... And you show great listening and sight-read really well... However, ur technical security in the Grieg and Mozart and your scales made you not able to pass....
I went home i was like DAMN! Haix... It's all my fault... I was kinda shocked... Got nagged of course... Parents disappointed... Why muz i fail the very last grade??? I nv failed my prac before lor... I was so disappointed with myself... Haix... I didn't do my best... My bro was like "Jie, you failed ah?" I was like "ya lah... your problem ah" Haha.... Was in a bad mood... But mom comforted me saying that i could try better next time... She'll be talking with my piano teacher bout the future plans... For now, juz concentrate on my grade 7 theory which I'm able to cope with the change of my teacher... So instead of learning piano under the teacher, i learn theory... He's really great man! Although he's a guy, he has cool musical talent... Admire him alot... As in teacher lah... The way he teach, he helped me pass grade 5 & 6 with high marks... But grade 8, my fault... I dun blame him lah... Hmmmz... :) Oh no... Violin how??? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmz... Now i in IT lesson... Couldn't go online at home... So couldn't update... Haha... Let's start from tues... BsF... First lesson.... Haha.. Ehz... Had Miss Teo back... OoPs... :) Hmmmz... Went to library.. I think... Then went to take neoprints w elaine... Bought her a pink chain with a letter E... Lolx... Took really nice neoprintz... If have a chance, i wld put it online ya? :) hmmz.. Fri had auditions... Went quite well... Flu persisted... Haix... :) Then after e auditions went to library with Cheryl and Adeline... Had SSG meeting... Our very first! Haha... :p Thanks to Shermin for changing shifts with me! Woohoo! Haha... Went home... DIdn't go cell cos really uncomfortable man... Slept early... Yawn! Then nxt day got band... Not too bad ba.. Then went for section lunch with my section... Really fun time.... Lolx.. Then played arcade with cousin! Haha... So long nv play still can pass the hyper man! Hi 5! Haha... Okay... Then went home... Watched the table-tennis match and Jiawei lost... Haix... No chance of gold or silver liao... I also didn't get $50 from my daddy... Haha... But he says that he will give me $50 if Jiawei wins bronze... But she lost too... Haix... Nvm lah... They did their best man! JiaYou! Btw, i failed my piano exam... Haix... It's my fault i didn't prac hard enough man... Failed by 5 marks.... All cos of scales and the last 2 exam pieces... But the comments said my sight-reading, sight-singing, listening to the mood and the period of the pieces that the examiner played was g8... She gave me high marks on that... My mom used to nag me to practice my scales.. But i didn't and evnm threw tantrums... Haiz.. My fault... God, pls help me to do my best when i retake my exam.... And do my best in finals... Help me to concentrate... (muz have faith!!!) No use crying, it's my fault... Theory lessons was fun... Composing a trombone piece... Easy lah... I got full marks on that... But not composing for the violins... Haha... :) Music rocks! ... Sunday was ok... Hmmz... Spent lotsa quality with my family... Haha... Can't wait for later... Woohoo~

Woohooo! Really fun... Fri after sch went to eat the Wanton Mee... (save money mah) haha... Really fun... Then Cheryl made us walk in rounds... Haha... Then went home to get ready for drum lessons... Haha... Drum lessons was fine, teacher made me figure out rhythms... But i did it! Woohoo... Had to follow to: Heart Of Worship... Good start... Then got ready for e SFW concert... Met Shuqi, Ade, Cheryl and HuayNing there... Took neoprints and ate dinner... Shuqi went home... Then we 4 took taxi to VCH... Met FangLing outside... Then took the tix from her... Concert was nice... But me and cheryl were smsing... Haha... Two seats away... Then Silvia kept pulling Ade's hair... Was really nice... The band was HUGE! Haha... They played Jericho... Then u know when the wall falls and stuff... Haha... Then went home with lotsa band seniors... Had a great time man... He went! So paisae leh... He smiled at me! Lolx... Haha... Then today... Went for this Brass thing... Then it's like we had this breathing lesson... Haha... Then we stood at the back... t-bone players from amk and css... he asked me a question... i anyhow ans and i got it correct! Haha... Then we met Denis Wick! Showed us a cool mouthpiece... The booster thingy... And the prac mute... I feel like buying... Mayb really can train man... He's a 1st t-bone! Hmmmz... :) On e bus kept bullying Minli... Haha... Then went w the band to JBF... Support! Haha... We were the rowdiest school... Kept screaming... Haha... Hmmmz... Then went home w Minli... Went Esplanade first... She bought a skeleton keychain... Haha...We talked alot... Haha... Had a really great time talking to her until i reached my theory lessons... Yawn! Shared w her lotsa stuff... Haha... Fri was such a BEAUTIFUL day! It's like... WOAH! Haha... But i heard some things today which wasn't very pleasant... Haix.. Nvm.. :)
Hello! Yoyoz... Had lotsa fun days... Let me tell u in day order starting from Sun, 8/8/04!Sunday: After church went to Takashimaya with family. Ate at a restaurant known as The Imperial... Really nice ambience and perfect spot for a wedding! Haha... Then went to Kinokuniya, bro bought some war books... Met Natalie~ Haha... We chatted for a while... Then had to go... Awww... Me and bro pointed to Harry Potter bks and winked to each other... Lolx... Then went to shoe shop... Saw someone that looks like Jay Chou and I'm not kidding u... Me and bro bought a pair of Reebok shoes each... Then went to converse shop... Both of us bought converse waterbottles and bags... Really happy man! Haha... A fruitful shopping trip... :) Then at nite went to see fireworks at clifford pier... Only a few mins... And really sqeezy... Dad didn't see it though... Lolx... Then went to Macs for dinner... Me and bro were given $50 to buy stuff for tmr... We were so happy... We bought lotsa tidbits... Haha... :)Monday: Ooh~ I'm going to walk from my hse to Maritchie Reservior on foot w/o transport... And I'm not kidding in any way... No transport! Haha... Walked with Mom, Bro, Godpa, Aunt Betty, XiaoYi, XueYing, XueTing and Bro... Wanted to ask Elaine along but afraid my Godpa wld mind... Cos he's leading us there and wants us to walk in pairs... Lolx... We walked through roads, forests... And discovered nature that i didn't know S'pore wld have... Saw lotsa freshwater streams with the water ever so clear! I waited by one to catch fish... But they were too fast lah... Mom and Aunt Betty walked e slowest, took their own sweet time... XiaoYi was quite pissed with that... Haha... Me and XueYing sang loadsa songs on the way... It really helped to take away our thoughts of exhaustion and pain... I sang alto and she sang soprano... Haha... Really fun man! Chatted alot... Bout personal lives to our school lives and our problems as well... Btw, she's my cousin... Haha... We went on overseas trips together... She's from China... Yeah... My mom's side is 1/2 China so i also have China blood in me... But that doesn't change the fact that my chinese sux... Lolx... Nvm... We r planning to walk e g8 wall of China this yr... lolx... It was really tiring with roads and stuff... Haha... Enjoyed myself... The best part was when we reached Maritchie! Haha... Took a taxi back home cos i really can't walk any further... Lost 4kg... And I'm not KIDDING!! Haha... Took 5hrs to walk there... Haha... Can't wait to bring Elaine and other friends to walk that path.. During e sch hols ya? Or when I get to know the route better... :) Really fun and fruitful walk... Hmmz... :p Tuesday: Lolx... Chatted w cousin b4 leaving 2 pick my friends up from JE... Shuqi, Cheryl, Shelvi, Peilin, HuayNing, TingTing, and Clara... We had loadsa fun! First went to buy ingredients... Then we made shepherd's pie... Turned out really well! Yummy! Then they kept saying Bro looked like Shaun... Haha... Then when bro laughed, everyone laughed like anything... Totally hilarious... :) Then we also made chicken salad, where cousin hurt her fingernails... hope she's alright now... Not up to standard lah... Lolx... Then made brownies... okok lah... Then watched uncensored titanic... u know the part when Rose strips, for the drawing... They didn't censor anything and oops... we saw it... Haha... Really funny... We made loadsa comments and hoped my bro didn't see anything... (but i think he did... oh man~) Haha... Had fun days... Looking forward to making sushi w elaine... lolx... if got the chance... hmmz... tmr's school...getting back life science paper i think... haha... hope everything goes well! Good luck to everyone! :)

yoyo! haha... long time no update already... on mon, went to library w cousin.. very fun! also got prac test... very messy and confusing....okok lah...:) then tues band was ok.. weds, went library with clara, cheryl and ade and shuqi... lolx...thurs, ate dinner w elaine... then at nite band very fun and funny... today, wake up so early... haha... played not too bad... no mistakes lah... Lolx... Then went home.. was so forgetful, left my blazer w wankee...i'm so sry! trouble you... :p haix...now only fiona, cheryl and shuqi knoes... hmmmz... today was ok leh... at least he spoke something... haha... :) Hmmmz... Maybe now doing theory... Ntin to do... Bake shepherd's pie? Not a bad idea either... :)
